FAQ
-
What is coaching?
Coaching is a collaborative process that helps you achieve specific goals, improve performance, and enhance your overall satisfaction in life. It’s about unlocking your potential and moving forward in meaningful ways.
-
How do I know if coaching is right for me?
If you’re feeling stuck, lacking clarity, or struggling to achieve a goal despite your best efforts, coaching can be a game-changer. It offers guidance, accountability, and tailored strategies to help you overcome obstacles and reach your full potential. Even if you’re just exploring new possibilities, coaching can provide the support you need to move forward with confidence.
-
What can I expect from our coaching sessions?
Expect a space where you can explore your thoughts, challenges, and goals openly. Our sessions will be a mix of deep conversation, practical exercises, and reflective practices designed to help you gain insights and take actionable steps toward your goals. You’ll leave each session with a clearer sense of direction and specific actions to work on before our next meeting.
-
So, do you just tell me what to do?
Not at all! You’re the expert on your life. Unlike consulting (where the focus is on advice) or therapy (which often explores the past), coaching is about collaboration. We work together to clarify your direction, uncover additional strengths, and create a plan that aligns with your values and aspirations.
-
Does the coach need to be familiar with my field or topic?
While familiarity with your field can be helpful, it’s not essential. You are the expert on your life and work. My role as a coach is to help facilitate change, guide you in discovering solutions, and support you in getting where you want to go. What’s most important is finding a coach you feel comfortable with and trust to guide you through this process.
-
What if I don’t know exactly what I want or need?
That’s perfectly okay. Many people come to coaching without a clear picture of what they want or how to get there. Part of the coaching process is helping you gain clarity. We’ll explore your values, strengths, and potential paths together, allowing you to define what success looks like for you.
-
Is coaching a good fit if I’m already successful but looking for more?
Absolutely. Coaching isn’t just for those who feel stuck; it’s also for individuals who are already successful but want to push themselves further, explore new challenges, or refine their approach to life and work. Coaching can help you amplify your strengths, uncover new possibilities, and ensure that your growth is aligned with your deeper goals.

How confidential are coaching sessions?
Confidentiality is a cornerstone of the coaching relationship. What we discuss in our sessions stays between us. I adhere to strict ethical guidelines to ensure your privacy, and it’s one of the reasons why working with a coach who has completed training with an ICF-accredited organization is so important.
