what to expect

Every engagement starts the same way- with a conversation. No pitch, no pressure. Just enough time to understand where you are, what you're working with, and whether this is the right fit.

how it works

  1. Initial call We spend 45-60 minutes together. You talk, I listen. I'll ask questions you might not have been asked before. If it makes sense to work together, we'll figure out which engagement fits best.

  2. Assessment Before our first session you'll complete one or both psychometric assessments- the iEQ9 Enneagram and SuccessFinder. These aren't personality boxes. They're maps. We use them to start the work with real data rather than assumptions.

  3. The work Weekly or biweekly sessions depending on your engagement. Each one builds on the last. Between sessions you'll notice things you wouldn't have noticed before. That's usually when the real shifts happen.

  4. Integration The last phase of every engagement is about making the changes stick- understanding what's different, why it matters, and how to keep building on it without me in the room.

a note on the assessments

The Enneagram and SuccessFinder are tools I use because they work, not because they're trendy. They give us an honest starting point and a shared language for the work. You'll receive full reports and we'll debrief them together before anything else begins.

"I was initially anxious about working with a coach due to the broadness and ill-defined nature of what my goals were. Matt was great at putting those pre-conceived concerns at ease and taking the time to work with me to uncover possible directions." -John, Business Development Officer
